You have two options. You can choose a different class or you can try to get into the one that is closed. If the class is waitlisted, you may put your name on the list. The computer automatically changes you from waitlisted to enrolled if space becomes available. If the class is not waitlisted, you may go to the teacher of the class and ask for a closed class card. Bring the closed class card to the advisement office to have the class added to your schedule. If you waitlist a class, you may use Saluki Net as often as you like to verify your schedule and check if you are enrolled. Find Saluki Net at http://salukinet.siu.edu/ The first day of final registration (usually the Wednesday before classes begin) is the first day you can check your final schedule after the waitlist has filled up all available spaces. At that point, there is no more Waitlist. You either got the class or you did not. If you did not, you may ask the teacher for a closed class card.
