Mike Sears
Ph.D., Biology, University of Pennsylvania (2001)
B.S., Biology, Rhodes College (1993)

I start as an assistant professor in the Department of Biology at Bryn Mawr College this fall. Before arriving at Bryn Mawr, I had a brief stint at Southern Illinois University. Additionally, I was a postdoctoral scholar at the University of Nevada-Reno and was also a National Science Foundation Postdoctoral Fellow in Biological Informatics. Currently, I am developing animal movement simulations in a spatially-explicit context that take into account thermoregulatory decisions and thermal physiologies of individuals.
