Welcome
to Dr.
Checo Colón-Gaud's
web page. As a freshwater ecologist, I'm interested in the roles
consumers play in organic matter processing and how they may influence
stream ecosystem
functioning. My curent research examines
consumer-resource linkages to assess the ecosystem effects of larval
amphibian losses in upland Panamanian streams.
