- Course Description: Introduction to fundamental biological concepts for non-life science majors interested in learning about interrelationships of human, plant, and animal communities. Integrated lecture and laboratory cover topics that include structure and function of living systems, reproduction and inheritance, evolution, biological diversity, and environmental biology. Laboratory applies scientific methods to the study of living systems. Laboratory/field trip fee $15.
